Dal graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture. He has been with Phase One Landscapes since 1991. Though his hair has gotten greyer, his experience has also grown along with the company. He has done it all during that time – surveying, drafting, design, drainage engineering, cost estimates, and project management. Dal often brings a dose of reality to designs, and is by necessity sometimes the office curmudgeon. He is currently the cost estimator and resident expert for detailed drainage analysis and grading plans. On the rare occasion he is not at the office, Dal can often be found at a dog park with his shepard rescue Nax, or playing blues music around the metro area.
